Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of ApexHunt, an AI-powered job search platform operated by Hillel Lithwick trading as ApexHunt ("we", "us", "our") at apexhunt.ai.

By creating an account or using ApexHunt, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions: [email protected]

1. The service

ApexHunt provides AI-assisted tools for senior professionals conducting a job search, including CV analysis, cover letter generation, CV rewriting, job matching, market intelligence, interview preparation, and salary negotiation coaching.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

2. Account registration

The free CV check on our landing pages needs no account. Everything else, including scoring your CV against a job ad and generating documents, needs one. When you hold an account you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.

You must be 18 years of age or older to use ApexHunt. Accounts are for individual use only and may not be shared or transferred.

3. Subscription plans and billing

ApexHunt offers the following plans:

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Plan inclusions change as the product develops. The pricing page shows the current inclusions and limits; where it differs from the table above, the pricing page applies.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period -- you retain access until then.

We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact [email protected] within 14 days of the charge.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use ApexHunt for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Upload content that is false, misleading, defamatory, or infringes any third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform in an automated manner.
• Use the service to generate content for others commercially without our written permission.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access features not available on your plan.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

6. AI-generated content

ApexHunt uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate cover letters, CV rewrites, interview questions, and other career content. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content is a starting point and should be reviewed and edited before use.
• We make no guarantee that AI outputs are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular job application.
• You are responsible for any content you submit to employers using ApexHunt.
• We do not use your CV or personal data to train AI models.

7. Intellectual property

Your content. You retain ownership of all content you upload to ApexHunt, including your CV, achievements, and profile information. You grant us a limited licence to process and store this content solely to provide the service.

Our platform. The ApexHunt platform, branding, and software are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

8. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service.

9. Disclaimers

ApexHunt is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• AI-generated content will be accurate, suitable, or result in job offers.
• Job listings sourced from third parties (Adzuna, ATS boards) are current, accurate, or still available.

Use of the service and any reliance on AI-generated content is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, ApexHunt and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of employment opportunity, or data loss, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of ApexHunt shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from Settings ("Delete my account"), which permanently deletes your data after a seven-day grace period, or by emailing [email protected].

On termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Sections 7, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use of ApexHunt after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
